Porcelain, slip inlay.

Some of this work is done by cutting out the leather hard piece and brushing a fairly thick slip over ( a few times, as it drys into a convex shape in the cut outs) and then scraping the whole piece down when leather hard again. Then wrap in plastic to dry very slowly as the slip can pull away from the cut out. Other works in this video have been done with wax resist technique.
