The first of my new work ( at last )

DSC01013 This is still an on going search but I have now got to a point with this technique where it is producing results. I can say that I have had a long and slow learning curve with terra sig. and its reactions to smoke firing. I had to find the point that it just did not go completely black.!!

More work done on the Terra sigillata crackle .

Getting the sagger smoke better now. I was getting either no smoke in the crackle or to black. Seems better now. Have worked out that by opening the sagger when still very hot i can alter the effect by re oxidizing or adding more saw dust to the bottom of the sagger.
